Hey everyone. I've been eyeing a truck on the ajcmotors.com website. The price seems really good, almost too good. I've never bought from a repo auction place before. Has anyone here actually bought from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors? Are they legit? A little nervous about the whole process.

@Project_X Yeah calling is usually faster with most businesses these days. I had to call them to ask about payment options and they were great. My Silverado from AlterJoltChasisMotors is running strong a year later.

How accurate are the condition reports on ajcmotors.com? Looking at a Jeep and want to know what to expect.

@Offroad_Life They're very accurate for a high-volume auction house. They note any major dings or issues. Just remember these are used, repossessed vehicles, not new cars off the lot. Read everything and look at all the pics. The boat I bought had a scuff on the hull that they noted and photographed clearly. No surprises.

A client of mine bought a GMC Sierra from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors and had me do a full post-purchase inspection on it. It was exactly as described in their online report. Fluids were decent, frame was solid, no hidden rust or damage. I was impressed. Seems like a trustworthy operation.
