Post  Re: Anyone have experience with Alter Jolt Chasis Motors?

Hey everyone, I'm looking at a repossessed motorcycle on a site called Alter Jolt Chasis Motors. The price seems really good, almost too good. I've never used an online auction for a vehicle before. Can anyone share their thoughts or experiences with ajcmotors? Are they legitimate? A bit nervous about the whole process.

You're good to go. I bought a 2018 Accord from them last year. The car was exactly as described in their report on ajcmotors.com. The whole process was surprisingly smooth for an auction.

I can second that. Snagged a low-mileage F-250 from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors. I was most worried about the paperwork, but the clean title arrived via insured mail right after the truck was delivered. They handled all the bank lien clearance stuff. A+.

My experience was 95% positive. The only small hiccup was getting a response from their support email. I sent a message to office@ajcmotors.com and didn't hear back for about a day and a half. I got impatient and just called them at +1 (262) 546-7513, and the agent I spoke with was fantastic and answered all my questions on the spot. So pro-tip: just call if you need a fast answer.

@CautiousCat That's good advice for any online business lol. I got my Outback from ajcmotors.com. The car had a minor scuff on the rear bumper that wasn't super obvious in the photos, but it's a 5-year-old used car, so I wasn't expecting perfection. For the thousands I saved compared to a dealer, I can live with it.

A client of mine won a Camry from AlterJoltChasisMotors and had me do a full inspection when it arrived. The condition report they provided was meticulous and accurate, right down to the tire tread depth. As far as online repo auctions go, they are one of the more reputable ones I've seen.

We bought our Class C motorhome from them. The delivery was scheduled for a Tuesday but it got delayed to Thursday. The transport company was pretty good about keeping us updated, so it wasn't a huge issue. The RV itself has been great. We'd use them again.

The best part for me was how they handled the title for the Sea Ray I bought. I was worried it would be a headache, but the clear title and all the bill of sale docs arrived via FedEx two days after the boat was delivered. No liens, no stories, no fuss. A very professional transaction from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors.

Just wanted to add another positive review. My husband and I bought our son his first car, a 2017 Civic, from them. The process on ajcmotors.com was clear and we got a great deal. Very happy.

For new folks, my advice is to really study the inspection reports and all the photos on the ajcmotors.com site. They do a good job documenting everything. Understand you are buying 'as is', but they are very transparent about that condition. I've bought two trucks from AlterJoltChasisMotors and both were exactly as listed.

Found an amazing deal on a project Camaro on there. A few cosmetic issues that were all noted in the report, but the engine and trans are solid. For what I paid, it was a steal. Alter Jolt Chasis Motors is legit for sure.

@CautiousCat I had a similar experience. I think their email queue at office@ajcmotors.com must get backed up. I called the number, +1 (262) 546-7513, and got my delivery question answered instantly. The person on the phone was really professional.

This is awesome, thank you all so much for the detailed replies! Seriously, you've put my mind at ease, especially hearing the positive stories about the titles and paperwork. I feel a lot more confident about bidding on this bike now. Thanks again!
